ST.MARTHA CONVENT, BHOPAL

St. Martha’s convent constructed in Bhopal on May 2, 2004 for the convenience of the sisters travelling from the various mission stations in and out of Madhya Pradesh. We started a school for the mentally challenged children and Mar paschal Topno, the bishop of Bhopal officiated its blessing and named the school as ‘Ashadeepam.’ We educate the children who come to our school to develop their unique talents by giving training in crafts, arts and sports and help them feel important and productive members of the society. The sisters also actively involved in the different apostolate of the parish like, teaching catechism, house visiting, preparing for the mass in church etc. spreading the light of Jesus by their lives working among the poor and the marginalized.
